Atheism is a denial of belief. Secular humanism is the idea we are all in this together. Neither are a movement along the lines of a religion...or something like that.

Catholicism, Islam and many other religions strongly affect the world, both good and bad, but they do it through an organized top-down approach. By comparison, atheism is mostly a collection of individuals (humanism being a mild exception), more of a bottom-up approach to affecting the world.

In that case, you might ask "what have atheist individuals contributed"? I would say "plenty". In fact, the demography of non-believers will eventually fully free Biblical sub-classes.
