It doesn't have to give us anything, it also should not be a movement.

If you don't believe in God that is okay, but don't put in the faces of those that do (and visa versa).

So why do athiests have such big mouths? What have you done?

Fucking nothing.

Then shut your piehole when criticizing.

On a side note, thank you for joining in. At least you have a pair!

Atheism is a denial of belief. Secular humanism is the idea we are all in this together. Neither are a movement along the lines of a religion...or something like that. :coffee:

I'm not an atheist; I said so earlier today on another one of your threads. Do you want to have a discussion or are you just trolling for an argument?

Catholicism, Islam and many other religions strongly affect the world, both good and bad, but they do it through an organized top-down approach. By comparison, atheism is mostly a collection of individuals (humanism being a mild exception), more of a bottom-up approach to affecting the world.

In that case, you might ask "what have atheist individuals contributed"? I would say "plenty". In fact, the demography of non-believers will eventually fully free Biblical sub-classes.

Small minded is small minded.

You have shown no capability for critical thinking. No need to expound on the admitted.

I do wonder why atheists give a shit. I mean about stuff like whether there's a memorial featuring a cross and such. I mean, if they're right nothing matters. Really. So why raise hell because there's some memorial on public land in nowhere USA that features a cross?

Because they are bitches. Got nothing better to do than complain. I personally love how they do not have a fucking spine in criticizing Islam.

Buc, buc, buc. Afraid someone will shut your mouth?

Buc, buc, buc.

Maybe they object based on principle. They can still do that, even though they are atheists.

I never realized that atheism (or theism for that matter) was required to contribute anything to anything.

Sorry, but not all opinions are created equal and your opinion on this matter is ****. You're poorly read and don't appear to have a grasp of the issues. If you did, you might know that many atheists are widely considered (by both muslims and their liberal sycophants) to be islamophobic.

Hey man, don't let your need for the writings, commandments and crazy rules of bronze age nomads to give your life meaning affect what you THINK atheists believe about life. To many atheists things matter... a lot, like on this Earth, not in some afterlife where it's Groundhog Day for all eternity.

Exactly.

Why does one need a book of stories from thousands of years ago to be kind, or fund a purpose to their life?
