He would have needed a LOT of ammo.
And people would have cooperate and stand still.
But yeah- a massacre

I had a SLED agent tell me once that more people were killed with a .22 than any other caliber. I find that hard to believe.

I had a plant manager once tell me that his issue for that day was a former employee who went home after work, shot himself in the head with a .22 and lived. After a short rehab he came back to work to ask for his job back. The plant manager was trying to figure out how to handle it......

Probably more .22s out there than any other caliber. The majority of gun deaths ( about 60%) are suicides, I sure wouldn't want to use a .22 for that.

Actually not that surprising, but not because it is a particularly lethal round. You have to hit something really vital with it, like spinal cord, brain or a major artery. Then you have to convince the victim to stand around until they bleed to death.

A guy my dad worked with attempted suicide with a .22 in the 1970s. He had too much to drink and shot himself multiple times in the chest and lived. He was back to work in a couple of weeks.
The walk of shame.

So the kid pulls the fire alarm and then does nothing? I wonder what caused him to take his life instead of murdering others.

Might have had something to do with the first item on the checklist. Get drunk!

Amazing that idiot needed to write that down. Not very well thought out, and we see how that ended. Darwinism strikes again.

.22s are pretty cheap compared to other calibers, I wouldn't want to purchase an expensive gun just to kill myself with it.

A .22 is the choice for an up close killer...a shot to the head has enough energy to enter the skull, but not exit...so the energy left is spent scrambling gray matter...
Otherwise, it's good for squirrels...and rabbits...Which is why the USAF survival rifle is a .22...

I use a simple single shot .22 to cleanly dispatch steers, hogs, lambs with a single shot, every time. No survivors thus far.

I have several .22's. they make a great squirrel gun, especially the CB load. It is deadly and makes just a little pop. I can sit on the back porch and dispatch one after the other and my neighbors never even notice. I have a couple pistols too. Haven't shot them in years.
In fact, I'm not even sure where they are.

I think my brother has them.
