Rand Paul is in hour 4 of his epic filibuster on the confirmation of Brennan. Partisan B.S. aside, if you have actually listened to what he and others have been saying, you would agree that our founding fathers would be proud.

Gotta admit, I hope he goes for the record. What is the record? This reminds me if the West Wing episode where the old man filibustered for 12+ hours.

Bummer
I'm in favor of drones shouting Americans without due process.
My drive to work has become boring

Mr Obama is going about this all wrong. It should be a perk of paying more taxes of a certain amount, that you get to designate a name in the hat for a weekly "drone strike lotto"

If anyone is watching... clearly the distinguished Senator from Kansas doesn't have a question... but I'm sure Paul appreciates the assist.

TX Senator Ted Cruz is now reading tweets about the filibuster...every single tweet.
edit: nevermind, "it was a small sampling." A very long small sampling though.

Strom Thurmond filibustered the Civil Rights Act of '57 for 24 hours and 18 minutes.

I saw where some progressives are asking how come Dems aren't joining in against this?
If this was Bush

Speaking of South Carolina, those of you from the Palmetto state, please do your country a solid and either primary Senator Graham or vote him out. Thanks.

Oh I don't know...I might be going out on a limb here. Could it be because if Obama does it, it's OK but if it were a Republican it would be an impeachable offense????
Help me out here, Progs...

I was listening to Glenn Beck on my way to a meeting and he is crazier than ever. He was going on and on about how a new party was created last night, the old media is gone, how the Tea Party (the ones that are against a womans choice and a gay persons choice) are for individual rights, etc... My favorite line was when he said, " I don't understand the Quartering Act or the Bill of Rights."

No. Secession should be a right of every state but it's pointless in the 21st Century.
