Here is what Jimmy Carter said about Venezuela's "dictatorship" a few weeks ago: "As a matter of fact, of the 92 elections that we've monitored, I would say that the election process in Venezuela is the best in the world."
Carter won a Nobel prize for his work through the election-monitoring Carter Center, which has observed and certified past Venezuelan elections. But because Washington has sought for more than a decade to delegitimise Venezuela's government, his viewpoint is only rarely reported. His latest comments went unreported in almost all of the US media.
HEY YOU!! SHUT IT!Here's why Chavez is hated...
1) He created a state run bank and removed the Venezuelan economy from the control of the privately owned centralized banking system that run our country - this move frustrated the U.S. media so much they regularly report that Venezuela is in an economic "shambles" - all the while - the private banking systems that control all the worlds major currencies are busily trying to destroy the Venezuelan economy
2) He removed the Venezuelan oil industry from the 1971 & 1973 Oil Currency Exchange agreements
These agreements regulate that ALL OIL be traded in U.S. currency / creating an artificial and permanent demand for U.S. dollars on the international exchange markets...
Those two things alone are enough to get him black listed by all US Media outlets
I'm no Chavez apologist
But he was popularly elected (FACT) by I think 66% and 75% of their population voted (unlike here in the US)
And he's not the man "the News" companies say he is - who simply read what they're told to read
Yeah he's basically Ron Paul plus murder.Chizzang wrote:Here's why Chavez is hated...

The virtual elimination of private property rights (FOR AMERICAN BUSINESSES), nationalizing almost every sector of the economy from rice production to cement factories (ELIMINATING CONTROL AND INFLUENCE OF AMERICAN INTERESTS), egregious price controls which has led to shortages in everything from building materials to food (LEAVING LESS GOOD TO BE IMPORTED TO AMERICA FOR PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR), out of control inflation, crime, and corruption (SINCE WHEN DID CONSERVATIVES CARE ABOUT THE CONDITIONS OF FOREIGN CITIZENS).
I could go on and on, but is there really any need?
**** the media, Chavez has been "blacklisted" by history.
