Hey, you might have more of an impact if you chose your audience more carefully. For instance, you could go to church on Sunday...any church, really...and stand up during the sermon to shout out your news headlines to the huddled masses. A sense of irony, no...you giving revelations to the flock?

You could also end your impromptu sermons with witty lines such as, "Flock you, sheeple!" and, "Don't think like a lemming; follow me instead!"
