Apparently Senator Pete Domenici, (R) NM, was supporting a child out of wedlock while he was excoriating Bill Clinton for his moral failings and voting to impeach him. (verdict: not guilty). 
But wait, it gets better: The mother, 30 years his junior, was the daughter of his Senate colleague, Paul Laxalt, (R) NV!
You can't make this stuff up folks.
