How did this even get to court?
A graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa. has sued the school for $1.3 million because she is unhappy that she got a C+ in a class in 2009...
...Thode was in the last year of a master’s in counseling and human services in Lehigh’s College of Education. She needed a B in the course at issue — a fieldwork class — to qualify for another round of field work, which was required to obtain the degree.
Thode’s lawyer, Richard J. Orloski, maintains that she deserved a higher grade. However, her professor, Amanda Carr, awarded her a big, fat zero for classroom participation. That zero brought her grade down...

Your story along with this one I saw last week are part of what's wrong with America.
The San Diego family is suing the amusement park because, they say, the employee playing the Alice in Wonderland character was racist. .........

I saw a claim against a theme park where a guy sued the park for the cost of Gold Toe socks and a pair of Rockport Walker shoes. In the letter, he claimed he had taken a deuce in the restroom and realized that the TP dispenser was empty. So the guy took off his shoes and socks and used his socks to wipe. He then walked around the park the rest of the day without socks and claimed that the inside of his shoes were ruined. His total claim was for something like $60.
I would think that it would be worth far more than $60 to avoid the embarrassment of having my name attached to that claim.

Professor's kid. No sense of reality and the real world.
I wonder if I should send a thank you to the prof that gave me a shitty grade in a class that led me to change my major. I make a lot more money than I would have if I had stayed the original path.

Well, for some strange reason she's trying to go from a C+ to A's. Apparently THAT is a lot more expensive.
