Gun Control: ANY American citizen has the right to own ANY sort of firearm or weapon.

""For a people who are free and who mean to remain so, a well-organized and armed militia is their best security. It is, therefore, incumbent on us at every meeting [of Congress] to revise the condition of the militia and to ask ourselves if it is prepared to repel a powerful enemy at every point of our territories exposed to invasion...

--Thomas Jefferson

""None but an armed nation can dispense with a standing army. To keep ours armed and disciplined is therefore at all times important.""

--Thomas Jefferson

"It is more a subject of joy [than of regret] that we have so few of the desperate characters which compose modern regular armies. But it proves more forcibly the necessity of obliging every citizen to be a soldier; this was the case with the Greeks and Romans and must be that of every free State. Where there is no oppression there can be no pauper hirelings."

--Thomas Jefferson to James Monroe, 1813.

"[The] governor [is] constitutionally the commander of the militia of the State, that is to say, of every man in it able to bear arms."

--Thomas Jefferson "

"The constitutions of most of our States assert that all power is inherent in the people; that... it is their right and duty to be at all times armed."

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

--Thomas Jefferson

Abortion:

In my opinion that should be up to the mother and father of the child- I don't have a problem with it really.-

Immigration

Immediately seal the borders- make sure that only people who have lawfully applied for citizenship are able to become Americans- No amnesty- Let those who have legally applied enter the country become citizens- kick the rest out now.

It is not fare to those who apply legally that many people enter illegally- There are people from all over the world who would like to live here- it is not fair that those who enter illegally are given preference and are condoned.

Taxes

Income Tax is actually an unconstitutional tax:

Taxes should as a rule be kept as low as possible, because usually taxes are used as a form of subsidizing businesses using American taxpayer dollars (communism) and usually lead to a larger wellfare state which will eventually choke a nation to death.

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence[note 1] and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;
Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 of the US Constitution.
The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several states, and without regard to any census or enumeration."

The argument, I believe, is that the 16th Amendment was not properly ratified.

Yes. It is claimed that the states ratified text different than what was proposed by Congress in regards to punctuation and Capitalization. This is clearly stupid.

Some claim it's invalid b/c Ohio wasn't a state in 1913 which became a state in 1803.
