Too many idiots not complying with the instructions for the antibiotics. When they don't take enough of the drug, the bacteria with higher tolerance to the drug survive, multiply, and spread to whoever else that person has sexual contact with.

I had gonnorhea so many times I should get a fvcking medal for it. I particularly enjoyed the Subic Bay strain. Hell I probably single handedly created 20 different antibiotic resistant strains. I was like a human Petri dish in the 80s.

Well it's true Vidav. If we could somehow get 100% of the people to adhere to strict, puritan morality as far as sexual behavior goes there would be no sexually transmitted disease. It would become a thing of the past.

Not saying that at all. I''m not saying I am or was any different. Only reason I didn't have a lot more extra marital sex than I had is that I wasn't good at seducing women. I'm just saying that when you stand back and look at it the puritanical, only in marriage, approach would eliminate sexually transmitted disease if it could somehow be applied in 100% of cases. Nobody would have sex until they were married. So every time you'd have a pair have sex they'd have never have had sex with anybody else. It'd be the end fo Gonorrhea.

Well, think about the question. People do the thing all the time where they dismiss advice or principle because a person touting the advice or principle doesn't follow the advice or principle themselves. But is that really valid?

The validity of advice or principle has nothing to do with whether someone touting it follows the advice or principle themselves. Absolutely nothing.
