Apple to Bring Manufacture of Some Macs Back to USA

Let's hope this is more than just lip service to the allegations of serious worker abuse in the Chinese plants. Hopefully it creates jobs in America. If they plan to really manufacture in the US rather than have China do 95% and then some minimum wage worker solder on one part at the US port then this is good news:

He tells editor Josh Tyrangiel that the company plans to spend more than $100 million next year to shift assembly from Foxconn's Chinese plants to facilities in the U.S. "This doesn't mean that Apple will do it ourselves," he says, "but we'll be working with people and we'll be investing our money."
"I don't think we have a responsibility to create a certain kind of job," Cook added. "But I think we do have a responsibility to create jobs."...

Apple is in the 1% and have a responsibility to redistribute their wealth to American workers.

Apple generates $46 BILLION in revenue, and we're supposed to cheer because they're spending $100 million on some misguided PR stunt?
