All who value justice applaud this woman and the government of Australia for keeping pressure on the Catholic Church for their crimes, past and ongoing, and silence.
For those of you unaware, the Australian Parliament has set up a royal commission and inquiry into the massive child abuse scandal now plaguing their nation. This is something the United States should have done decades ago.
The catholic church needs to raided, shut down and searched for evidence of child rape and cover up. Every archdiocese is involved at some level and the truth needs to come out.

For more info on Australia and to follow the ongoing catholic church child molestation scandal across the globe, visit

You can also use the above link to search your church for known predators. *Keep in mind, the church has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to silence victims, convince courts to rule in favor of withholding evidence and pay off pedophiles to disappear, so the list is just the tip of the iceberg.
Do the math. YOUR priest knew something. Ask him.

Convicted pedophile labeled a "Treasure' by the catholic church.
The description of a convicted pedophile by his religious order's newsletter as a "treasure" is shattering, the head of the Patrician Brothers says.
Brother Philip Mulhall said Brother Thomas Grealy, who was convicted and jailed for the rape of boys in western Sydney in 1997, said featuring a photo of Br Grealy in the order's newsletter was a dreadful mistake.

How great is it that a nation with a seedy history of anti-Catholic bigotry -- even worse than the US -- has formed a commission to investigate the Catholic Church? I'm sure they'll get to the bottom of it. After all, reportage up to this point has been so manifestly accurate and balanced.

Anti Catholic? Australia, like the United States and the rest of world,
looked the other way while your priests raped children, primarily boys, same age as your kids, on an industrial scale. The catholic church was, and to a certain extent - is - a pedophile factory. If anything, they're pro-catholic.
Finally, a government is involved and is formally investigating the church, like they would the mafia, Enron, Hells Angels or other corrupt organizations.

This wouldn't happen if nature and reason were the basis for religion vice superstitions and arbitrary rules such as celibacy and a ban on marriage.

It wouldn't happen if the world governments were not in bed with the catholics or one in the same for 1700 years.
Anti-catholic bigotry

Deism is the way to go, IMO. It's not a reveled religion but fully accepts a creator and even the message and existence of Jesus Christ. It bases its morals in that there is a supreme creator that gave man reason and through that reason and nature we have built our moral laws. It's a very interesting ideology.

That's at least the fourth time you've said that this month. You're over your limit.

Well, it's better than old, white, ugly, flaming homosexuals prancing around in dresses, funny hats and make-up fleecing the timid and ignorant for all their money solely for the priviledge to be told what to do and believe, and for their young sons fresh ass.

My mind is slipping, I can only recall one other time. My humblest apologies.

Your entire Vatican leadership and a large percentage of your priests are homosexuals, who like to wear women's clothing. Sorry, it's just the way it is.

Bought a commemorative replica of that one at Nats Stadium when he came to town. New Era has the fitted ones for a little more money, but they're worth it.

Do you have a place for me to stay? I'll be there.
I don't care to make fun of them. The Catholic Church is a sad tale of absurdity, tyranny, immorality and reckless abuse of power that inevitably results from religious belief.
