Complaining about how Obamacare is gonna bankrupt him. 4.6 CENTS INCREASE PER PIZZA IS ALL IT WOULD TAKE TO COVER HIS EMPLOYEES!!! The man who has his own private golf course on his own property.

Looks like I'm calling Domino's. DOUCHEBAG!

Obamacare will be expensive for some companies, not sure about one as big as Papa John's, but healthcare is and will be more expensive than if there was no Obamacare.

It's going to cost the company I work for a ton of money.

Companies will now be fined if an employee doesn't have health insurance through the company...even if they are covered through a spouses plan...plus about a dozen plus other new taxes that companies will have to pay.

Thats complete bullshit. Companies get fined if they dont offer insurance to its employees and have over 50 employees. Employees cant opt not to join a companies health insurance by signing a waiver, the employee is then responsible for his/her insurance coverage either though a spouse or an outside plan. Failure to sign up for insurance then with a spouse's plan or an outside plan leaves the EMPLOYEE subject to a fine, not the employer.

I pay over $900/month out of my own pocket for health insurance for a family of 4. It will be interesting to see how much this will jump in the coming year.

LOL.....I know it is coming.

Maybe I should 'fake' a bad back and go on disability and let the gov take care of me.....seems to work for a lot of others.

Nah, I couldn't do it. I like coming home from bustin my tail and looking in the mirror and being proud of a "honest day's work."

Meanwhile...in a place called the rest of the developed world, where healthcare is cheaper and basic outcomes are as good if not better...there is no mandatory for-profit health insurance.

I don't like Obamacare either. It was written by big Pharma and big insurance because they have big lobbyists. It's another shining example of being able to buy favorable government decisions. Big government isn't the problem if you can afford to have big government work for you.

Regardless, I'm surprised anyone would think that part time work at a pizza joint should include employer funded healthcare. I'm equally surprised that anyone would even consider protest shopping at Domino's. Yeah...they now have gluten free crust on the menu but it is still not enough to make up for the shitty sauce and 3 flecks of cheese they throw down on each pie. :ohno:

People need to get healthcare, whether the company they work for gives it to them or they buy themselves - what a tragedy... :coffee: :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

Are the people projecting such small employer costs the same people who actually believe the ACA will reduce healthcare costs?

This. As I said when the SCOTUS ruled on Obamacare, the biggest winners were the insurance companies.

Nice. I wonder if the Patriot Depot would consider doing the same thing with a Bush logo or an elephant regarding the Rx Drug Benefit Plan? Just curious...
