I couldn't listen very long. I didn't even last the suggested five minutes. This chick may well be in the same trouble a Turlock young woman is in, with the Secret Service investigating her for suggesting that someone assassinate the "N-word." Regardless, she makes Mike Leach, Denny Green, Billy Martin, and Herm Edwards seem quite tame....

I don't think she took many votes away from Mittens.

A bit much but it is true that Libertarians who were in States that mattered who voted for Libertarian candidates are fools. There are times when one must choose between the lesser of two evils and if you're a Libertarian this was one of those times and Romney was definitely the lesser of two evils.

Don't know if it would've made a difference in the final outcome. I'd guess not. But if you were in a "battleground state" and you're a Libertarian and you didn't vote for Romney you're an idiot.

Sure they would because given the realistic choice involved that carried the most potential for slowing the rate at which government control of our lives accelerates. One of two things is going to happen. From a Libertarian standpoint, while both may be bad things, one (the Democratic Party in general and Obama in particular) is clearly worse. All you do by voting Libertarian as opposed to voting Republican is increase the probability that the worst case will be realized. It really is a wasted vote and all of the rationalizations about how it's not won't change that. Of course everybody is familiar with that thought process but it doesn't hurt to express it again.

Yes it appears to be. And the future does not appear to be bright. All indications are that the concepts upon which this country was founded will be entirely lost. Additionally the distribution of cognitive potentials characterizing the United States population will decline. At some point we will basically have Mexico North. Complete disaster. Hooray. Thankfully I won't live long enough to see it but my children might and my grandchildren probably will.

Yes I know how politically incorrect that is but if we were studying our own species in dispassionate, objective terms in the absence of egalitarian bias that is what we would conclude.

I'm not a Republican. I'm a Libertarian. A Republican wouldn't be expressing opposition to drug laws, laws against prostitution, and DUI laws. But I'm pragmatic when it comes to casting my vote. And if there's potential that it will have an impact I want my own vote to have that potential.

I have a nephew in Texas who voted for the Libertarian candidate. I see no problem with that. How he voted in Texas made no difference as that State was a lock for Romney even if every Libertarian in the State did what he did. But it was different if you were a Libertarian in Florida, Virginia, or Ohio. Then there's potential that your vote matters.

Tell me, what do you think is accomplished by "voting your conscience" in a situation like that?

In a ranking of languages associated with countries that could be major players in the game of world domination, French is nowhere close to the top of the list. A better use of your time would have been taking a class to become an 8-track player repairman.
