I need to move out of this shithole. Not only did the Dem machine STEAL another US Representative last night, they also were successful in passing even MORE unconstitutional redistricting by making it sound like it would be unconstitutional to vote against it. The count right now is 7-1 for Dem US Reps thanks to them redrawing the lines before this election and now Question 5 passes by 63-37 which means we will probably have all 8 of our House Reps be Dems. Amazing considering we had nearly a million people vote R last night and 20 of our 24 counties are red. System is broken here.

If it wasn't for crab cakes, and the fact that it has some ocean coastline, that state is worthless.

Redistricting is a major issue on both the left and right - Republican states do the exact same thing, or worse. It is one reason the House is filled with extremists on both sides.

I voted against Question 7. I was opposed to gambling from the start, especially without table gaming. I knew when it originally passed that table gaming wouldn't be far behind. Kind of like expanding the playoffs to 20 would eventually lead to 32. While this makes gambling in general more pallatable as it won't only be targeting elderly, poor and fixed income persons (those are the only people who frequent casinos without table games), it still doesn't cut it for me. I'm digging my heels in on ANYTHING Martin O'Malley proposes at this point. He is a slimy politician.

Didn't say it was a single party issue, but it is an issue in my state. We were #1 BEFORE this question passed.

Five states are in the Top 10 least compact states for each compactness score; Maryland, North Carolina, Louisiana, West Virginia and Illinois. Of all states in the Top 10, Maryland stands out as having the least compact districts by every measure, except for Reock.

Redistricting is a major issue.
Something that needs to be addressed soon or Congress will never get anything done ever again.

Cross the river over to the Commonwealth buddy! No gambling (aside from lottery tix), lots of conks and good ol' fashioned conservatives, lower taxes, no Baltimore, better schools/colleges, guns for sport and not for corners (except maybe in the 757), the works!

It's funny, where I live (Loudoun County) virtually all elected officials are Republican, yet the County voted for Obama at approximately the same percentage as the rest of Virginia. Go figure...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought last night's vote approved table games.
