some of the best saltwater flyfishing in the world and there's even stocked trout in a few of the mountain streams
always ranks near the top in happiest citizens rankings
CID1990's just down the street
Sounds like a good move!

I'm sure their health care is very advanced with state-of-the-art equipment and with well-trained doctors of every specialty and subspecialty imagineable.

I know a couple of people that are seriously thinking about it. Travel there often (vacations). Thinking about buying a second house there and "testing the waters" of citizenship. They have kids that are grown. With mine age 11 and 10, I don't have the balls to do it.

The people who say they are moving to another country because of Obama are short sighted. It would be much more effective to do what the dems did in reverse and move to Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan etc.

Have a buddy that looked hard at it, told us $200K gets you a small house without a view. Kinda like here.

Funny, I thought you righties would move to a less socialistic place.
Ocean views in Somalia are a bargin - that fits more in with your line of thinking.

The issue is taxes (more so capital gains vs. income, and inheritance), not the cost of real estate.

My friends point was that your real estate dollar doesn't go as much farther down there as most think.
I'd be happy to pay higher taxes and get free medical care.

You sick? Just eat better, exercise, and quit hanging out with loose women. Then you won't need no stinking doctors.
