San Francisco is next.

Pastor Kevin Swanson of Generations with Vision Ministry dedicated his radio show yesterday to blaming gays and lesbians for not only Hurricane Sandy but also Hurricane Katrina. Swanson, who earlier urged Chick-fil-A to produce “Miss Piggy on a bun” to mock gay rights groups and beseeched America to return to the biblical law of Pilgrim society when homosexuality was punishable by death, warned that hurricanes struck New York and New Orleans because they are among the “most pro-homosexual, pro-liberal cities in America.” He added that San Francisco should soon expect an earthquake for similar reasons. Later, Swanson claimed that abortion rights and the growth of LGBT youth clubs in schools are provoking God’s wrath and intensifying the strength of hurricanes.

In Revelation it has many references to trumpets and bowls. The trumpets that are sounding are warnings, the bowls are the full wrath. God will use situations like hurricanes to warn people that the time is near and that you should repent. Eventually the bowl-the full wrath will come and then it will be too late. To support or to turn a blind eye to lifestyle(s) that are an abomination to God is just as bad as as actually living that lifestyle. God wants all, including those who are have chosen the homosexual lifestyle to be saved-you just have to give that lifestyle up. God will not force you to believe in Him. That is why he gave you free will, to choose who you want to serve.

That's the problem with your god. He was steadily evolving out of the old testament natural disaster messages but totally screwed up the AIDS as punishment thing. Now he has to resort back to old school earthquakes and hurricanes. It's sad when deities regress like that.

It is sad that the Catholic religion created another Atheist or an Agnostic who comes to hate what Christ truly represents. The Catholic religion is called the mother for a reason, they are the reason for a lot of the false doctrine that is out there today. Catholic is NOT Christianity. Do a little history. You will find that yes, Catholicism did have its roots in Christianity, but quickly became corrupt. There have always been true Christians out there. Catholicism happened because you had a Bishop who became too big for his own good. Eventually political Rome gave heed to Papal Rome. You would also be correct in saying that many "Christian" sects came from Catholicism. The Protestant Reformation was just that, however much false doctrine came about. Lastly, you can claim all you want that my "brand" is not Christianity, but the fact is, I have studied the Bible very well and know what is and isn't. I also studied "church" history as well as history in general enough to know who is who.
