People on the Internet are stupid....

I'm seeing people talking impeachment for President Obama.
What?!?
Forget for the moment whether or not he's done anything worthy of impeachment. Think strictly of the TIMING of this whining. It makes no freaking sense right now. First off, if the someone were to introduce articles of impeachment in the House today, does anyone seriously believe that with the way our government operates that actual charges could pass the House AND result in a completed Senate trial (with conviction or acquittal) before the inauguration? Hardly likely.
Also consider this. If President Obama is voted out, the effort spent in getting him impeached is wasted. Even if one could conceivably get him convicted before the election, if he wins the election, you've STILL wasted your time because he's technically "out," then right back in at the inauguration, with about two or three months of Biden as President. (Does ANYONE REALLY want that?!?)
I'm not saying there's anything to impeach him over, but the best thing to do if you're even considering it is to wait until after the inauguration. If Romney wins the election, problem solved, no impeachment necessary. If Obama wins, filing AFTER the inauguration would actually mean something. Unfortunately, then you're back to the problem of a Biden presidency. I just can't see how making Biden President is better than having Obama as President. Seems to me one should focus on getting Romney in via the election or just toughing it out until 2016....
