Romney needs to saturate TV with this video

He needs to get permission to pay to have it broadcast frequently and widely within battleground states. It's making the rounds on internet e mail. Reportedly it was made entirely by high school and college students. Real fire up the base stuff. Turnout catalyst. If you're somebody who believes that we have departed from Constitutional government and need to get back to it this will fire you up. And it will give you hope seeing that there are at least SOME young people thinking along those lines.

Okay "Protect our language" ..?
We don't have a national language John
And secondly - this was painfully choreographed and tedious
It takes two minutes before they come out and just say: Vote Conservative

We should. That is the point.

Having a national language would make us a stronger, more effective nation.

Do you think it is better to have various dialects and languages? Or do you think it would be better if everybody in the country spoke/read the same language?

Which do you think would make for a more effective, efficient system?

Believe me when I tell you that my son is not a homosexual. He IS deaf and republican.

And, no, you did not see him in that video. He's too busy with law school and making $34 per hour as an intern for a law firm in order to contribute to putting himself through.

If he were a liberal and/or Democrat I'm sure he'd be sitting there with his hand out waiting for someone to take care of him because he's deaf.

To answer your question:
German - If Germany had won
The world would be a far more organized and efficient place
Is that the point you're making..?
And can you not agree - That had Germany won the world would indeed be FAR MORE efficient

Possibly. Depends on what would've happened after they won. If they established an "empire" it would've had multiple languages.

There could be a country with a single language that is totalitarian. And there could be a country with a single language that has a wonderful representative government with liberty and respect for individual rights. Having a single official language isn't going to make a country totalitarian.

Just create an atmosphere whereby it's up to a person to immigrate here to learn the official language instead of one in which the larger society tries to accommodate the native language of each individual. That is not a terrible, horrifying thing to do. It's not forcing anybody to learn the official language. Just creating a situation where it is in their interest to do so. Up to them. It's not a horrible, tyrannical thing to do and it would make for a more efficient country.

I can remember being in a high school Civics class many moons ago...or maybe it was Geography or something...and listening as the teacher opined that the United States had an advantage over some other large nations like China and India because the United States effectively had a single language that everybody spoke. Described how the different dialects and languages within some other large countries impeded them. And I think he was right.

Now we're into this self-delusion about "diversity." And it's rotting us.

Then you're probably not a person who would need to see it anyway. Like I said: It's function would be to facilitate turnout among those who feel that we are no longer governed by the Constitution and want to return to Constitutional government. To those people, that video would be positively invigorating. Also people who aren't really specifically thinking in terms of the Constitution per se but just want what they think of as "less government."

It takes two minutes before they come out and just say: Vote Conservative
The people, like me, who this video would appeal to would know who they're talking about voting for 27 seconds in when the young lady says to vote for people who "stand up for the blueprint of this country." Then there's the thing immediately following about our history and our culture.

Put it this way: When someone refers to someone who is going to "stand up for the blueprint of this country" it doesn't take a genius to figure out that they're not talking about people like Barac Obama.
