Widespread Voter Fraud Found in Florida

Like most ACTUAL voter fraud, it was committed by the GOP...

Election officials in six Florida counties are investigating what appears to be "hundreds” of cases of suspected voter fraud by a GOP consulting firm that has been paid nearly $3 million by the Republican National Committee to register Republican voters in five key battleground states, state officials tell NBC.

But the veteran GOP consultant, Nathan Sproul, who runs the firm, strongly defended his company's conduct, saying it has rigorous "quality controls" and blamed the alleged fraud on the actions of a few "bad apples," workers who were hired to register Republican voters for $12 an hour and then tried to "cheat the system."

Also in Colorado, where a Mormon who goes to the same stake as the GOP county election commisioner was registering only Republicans...

And FOX31 Denver has confirmed that the young woman seen registering voters outside a Colorado Springs grocery store in a YouTube video, in which she admits to trying to only register voters who support Mitt Romney, was indeed a contract employee of Sproul’s company.

“I’m actually trying to register people for a particular party,” the girl tells a woman in the video, which has been viewed more than 417,000 times. Because we’re out here in support of Romney, actually.”

That would not cure most of the actual voter fraud cases.

How many Republican voters did ACORN register in the last go round?

Actually don't know the answer - if you have a voter registration event, or in any way encourage/support people to register, do you have to register people from a party you don't support? Are there laws governing that? I would think with the amount of different ways to register that a Democratic operative or a Republican operative wouldn't have to register someone from the other party. If an operative from either party is out in public, and they want to register people, can they arbitrarily just choose to register people who claim to be from that party and just ignore others?

My understanding that if you offer public registration, you have to register EVERYONE, regardless of party. Otherwise, you would have people registering everyone, then throwing away registrations they don't like.

But what if you don't even take their registration in the first place? Obviously telling someone that you are registering them, and then throwing out registrations you don't like is wrong and I'm sure illegal. But what if you never take it in the first place? What if you run a "Democrat Only Registration" Drive or a "Republican Only Registration" Drive? Are those illegal? I personally wouldn't have a problem with that - if you meet the requirements to be a voter, then by all means, register with either party, or independent. Political parties exist to gain more votes for their side, why is this any different as long as the voters meet the requirement to be a voter?

Voter ID doesn't cure all fraud. It doesn't address absentee voting.

Yeah, and let's plant microchips in everyone while we're at it. Nothing sinister, you know, just for general tracking purposes.

We don't need this tracking stuff, just a plain old voter photo id, simple as that.

And you presumably want another layer of government bureaucracy to administer this?

You still haven't addressed the absentee voter issue. Do they mail in their photo ID along with their ballot?

Gil has me on ignore, somebody please quote this so that he sees it. In fact, someone please quote all of my posts for Gil's benefit.
