This idea that there is something noble about war is baffling...
Grunts die in the mud and the sand - and they are just kids mostly - that is the honor of war
We continue to glorify and celebrate war
America = World Police

Your kids may not play Call of Duty, but millions in this country do. Not that I'm opposed to it, but if that isn't glorifying war, I don't know what is. :?

Obama has forced 2 countries to change governments, Lybia and Egypt, with very little American blood lost. Syria is on the verge, 1 more term and Iran will fall.

Ever seen the new A-Team? How about Transformers? Iron Man?
Ever walked down the toy aisle?
Ever hear someone suggest we should turn ______country into a parking lot?

We have a war culture.

True, but the aliens were the bad guys, piracy is hard for the average american kid to get into these days and typically unneccessary, and magic isn't real. :?

The glorification of war in this county stopped with the Korean War. That was well before most of us were born.
