The conservative bullshit about a liberal media...

Media is owned and operated by conservatives...

The unfair fight part is the billions being poured into the race by the Conk Superpacs, thanks to the abhorrent Citizens United ruling.

They have repeated it so many times they believe it. There is liberal media. There is also conservative media. People watch, listen and read what they choose.

The only incorrect part of his post is the super pacs, as both sides can do it. If there were donk versions of Adeslson and the Kochs you would be crying foul and you know it.

jon is correct. ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, the NY Times, Washington Post, etc. are all bastions of conservative thought, and that just isn't fair.

Well, it isn't my fault you haven't done your due diligence. :coffee:

Was Obama lying when he said he believed in a socialized single payer medical system, or that he believes in the redistribution of wealth, or his belief that the Constitution is a charter of "negative liberties"? :suspicious:

The two most important narratives in the conk playbook: liberal media bias, Obama's slightly to the right of Marx.

The two most important narratives in the donk playbook: laugh at liberal media bias, Obama's really too conservative. Hey, this is fun. :thumb:

1) I'm not pro union and think their campaign dollars should be limited too.

2) Hen, you must have me confused for a donk. :ohno:

kalm, I'd never call you a Greenspanist. Anyone stupid enough to marry Andrea Mitchell can't be trusted with the National economy!

Listen, young pup, Milton and Rose Friedman forgot more about market economics than you'll ever learn. Ditto Hayek. Have you ever read their stuff? Keep on drinkin' the Keynesian Kool-aid. :coffee:

Friedmanism is great on paper...it's utopic (there's that word again  ) But rational self interest is a destructive force in the end.

But I'd be ok with Friedmanism during up turns and Keynesianism during down turns.

Lets pretend for a moment that "mainstream media" is biased towards Obama. Still, when the primary source of news for 45% of Americans is Fox News, does it even matter? I happen to have a "crazy uncle", the kind that sends mass forwarded emails about the "turd with ears" in the white house. This man consumes Fox radio with local conservatives and Glenn Beck on the drive to work, Howie Carr on the drive home and wraps up the day with O'Reilly and Hannity before retiring to bed. This man is not alone in his habits.
