“First and foremost, I would like to offer a heartfelt apology to all the whores, junkies, bums, and grime-covered derelicts out there who make up nearly half our nation,” a visibly contrite and solemn Romney said outside a campaign stop at a local high school.

There's no WAY he'd appologize to that half of the country. That's Obama's half.

Wrong. Out today:
Latest Rasmussen Daily Swing State Tracking Poll (11 key swing states) has it 47 Romney, 46 Obama.
http://www.examiner.com/article/mitt-ro ... -key-polls" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Gallup Daily Swing State Tracking has it 48 Obama, 46 Romney.
http://news.investors.com/091912-626338 ... -poll.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you think the "gap in the polls is getting bigger by the minute" then you are delusional. The OPPOSITE has happened. Obama's bounce since the DNC convention has evaporated. This thing is very close right now and will likely remain so right up to election day. Not saying Romney will win, but this thing will remain very close. I will bet anyone that it will be closer than 08' in both electoral college and %. Romney's little 47% comment isn't going to make much difference..

You have to take 2-3 points from the Republican and Give to the Democrat for Rasmussen and Gallup - both proven to be lean to the Elephant.

Yeah, you're probably right. I was just pointing out the fact that Obama isn't pulling away.

As I already pointed out 2008' Also in 2000, 2004....
"2000
Progressive Review conducted a review of polling accuracy in the 2000 presidential primaries. The review ranked Rasmussen Research number one in accuracy.[34] Rasmussen's prediction for the 2000 presidential election was off by 4.5%,[35] compared to the average 1.1% margin of error most other national polls gave at the time.[36]
[edit]2004
In the 2004 presidential election, "Rasmussen...beat most of their human competitors in the battleground states, often by large margins," according to Slate magazine.[37] Rasmussen projected the 2004 presidential results within one percentage point of the actual vote totals earned by both George W. Bush and John Kerry.[38]
In 2004, Slate said they “publicly doubted and privately derided Rasmussen” polls because of the methodology. However, after the election, they concluded that Rasmussen’s polls were the most accurate.[37]
