Former CIA Operative Michael Scheuer, probably knows more than the average Joe, and he says Israel owns our congress:

We hold the leash on Israel. I'm not sure if the world is prepared for the consequences if Israel is backed in a corner and feels threatened.

Never heard of him, but let me go out on a limb here and guess he's selling a book about the subject. Am I right?

Scheuer was the head of the Bin Laden unit at Langley. He taught at Georgetown and was a member of a prominent policy think tank here in DC.
He's a smart guy, and he has several books to his credit. I enjoy reading him, and he does have some very common sense views on US foreign policy.
However, to read his books you have to put up with a continual anti-Israel undercurrent in all his writings. When it comes to Israel he is a frothing rabid dog.

Israel owns their hearts
Big Pharma and Big Oil own their checking accounts
