Ooooo. A tragedy involving guns! Quick! What's the best way for me to spin this politically on an internet football forum?

I know! I'll attack NYC gun laws!

All he did was beat Douche1Bag to the punch. The guy is probably some wingnut conk with an abortion doctor fetish, but Douchie hasn't woken up yet from his heroin-induced coma to start his standard 3-4 threads on the subject. :coffee:

Pulling a gun in NYC is asking for suicide by cop. If someone had been carrying concealed and drew on the guy they likely would have been dropped by the police too.

Disgruntled employee that was fired yesterday. He came to work and shot the guy who fired him.

Cops apparently blasted him shortly after that.

Unfortunately it looks like the cops may have hit some bystanders in the process....

Don't get butthurt, '07. kyjelly KNEW this guy was going to turn out to be a donk (it is NYC, after all) and he was just trying to avert the obvious tit-for-tat that was coming given the recent gun-related incidents that Douche1Bag has been blathering on about.

It's got nothing to do with politics being discussed here. It's the fact that people want to use tragedies to validate their political stances...

I mean... you start this thread at 9:55 am... to the minute that the news hits cnn.com. Your initial reaction is "how can I spin this politically?"

Meh.

If this had happened 15 blocks northeast of there it wouldn't even be back page of the Herald.

Sounds like most of the bystanders were hit by NYPD gun fire. Maybe we should disarm the NYPD.

NYPD has always been "spray and pray".

If you want to see a truly professional PD then go look at Metro Dade or Denver but you won't find one in NYC.
