Conks spent the last 4 years:

1. Trying to repeal Obamacare and anything Obama and

2. Nothing else

They also spent a little time trying to reign in Dem spending and the debt ceiling. Check out those Clinton years with a Republican congress vs. 2006-present. Yep, this is one of the worst Congresses ever.

Both sides are guilty of massive spending. Conks are better at convincing that they don't like it and really like a balanced budget. Neither side has the stones to pay for that spending and that's ultimately a conk notion.

It's both. We've chosen to fight wars and fund entitlements AND chosen to cut taxes. And yes, I recognize there's also tons of waste.

I agree. Some of the revenue issues will correct themselves with a drop in unemployment with incremental payroll and income tax revenues. The real problem I have is that regardless of the level of revenue collected Congress will not operate responsibly within those limits. We need to retrench with regards to policing the world and invest domestically in supporting US manufacturing and providing infrastructure. Seems to be a good approach for the Chinese, and it's sad that we can look to them for guidance on how to promote domestic economic growth.

I think Germany is a better model to follow as far as reviving domestic manufacturing goes. Their system isn't perfect, but they seem to be able to have their cake and eat it too (i.e. robust private sector as well as strong social programs).

Obamacare was passed in 2010 (2 years ago) and it was passed with a Donk controlled Senate AND House of Representatives. The Conks have controlled the HOR for less than 2 years now.

Good point - it's amazing what you can do domestically when your leadership isn't busy trying to conquer the world.
