Yes, because we all know that sex with a 16 year old is OK. After all, it is legally consensual.

So, if a person has sex with a 16 year old in Delaware, he's bad, but if he has sex with a 16 year old in MN, it is good, because kids in Minnesota are so much more grown up and able to handle such relationships. Heck, he could have gone to some other country to blow a 14-year old...after all, it's "legal".

Wrong.

The age of consent and a minor child are two entirely different things. Even if the age of consent is 16 years old, the child is still considered a minor in the eyes of the law.
