US Military Coup Scenario

A shocking Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (MTC) report red-lined to President Putin this morning warns that “various elements” within the US Military establishment are “actively planning” for the overthrow of President Barack Obama prior to the November elections.
According to this report, Russian Naval Infantry Forces commanders participating in Rim of the Pacific-2012 (RIMPAC) international naval war games off Hawaii (the world’s largest multi-national maritime exercise) this week were told by their US counterparts aboard the USS Port Royal (CG-73) that Obama had to be overthrown as he posed the most dangerous threat to the United States since the founding of their nation.
US Military commanders, this report continues, stated that American officers and soldiers, along with elected and appointed Federal government officials, all take an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign or domestic, of which they claim Obama is one due to his overturning of established law and constitutional precedents bringing their country to the brink of all-out civil war.

Oh God. This is funny. I'm sure someone at RIMPAC was drunk and taken out of context. This is probably some drunken sailor saying how we gave got to vote out Obama.

And what's with all these poorly ghost-written "Tom Clancy
and Wally Schlabozzle" novels? Apparently authors and publishers have decided to push branded books across to us and think that we don't care who wrote it - hell Robert Ludlum's still churning 'em out from beyond the grave...

This is gross beyond belief. Sure, I believe President Obama is incompetent and ought to be replaced. But a freaking COUP?!? Even if he's re-elected, unless he finds a way to repeal the 22nd Amendment, he'll be out in JAN 2017. No matter what damage he's done to our country by then, he'll be gone and the damage can then be fixed. No coup required. All that's required is to either vote him out NOW or have patience for four years.

This smells like an awkward attempt at manipulation by the Russians. Obama was overheard telling the Foreign Minister to tell Putin to wait until after the election for him to do what they want.
This seems like a plant story by them to further weaken the US military in the President's eyes, make the Russians seem as if they are on the President's side by blowing the whistle and perhaps bolstering Obama's election chances by creating a backlash against Republicans who are closer linked to the military than Democrats.
I can't believe any one in the military in know of something like this would leak it to anyone they didn't trust implicitly, treason is serious business, much less to the Russians.

An elected county judge in Texas is warning that the nation could descend into civil war if President Barack Obama is re-elected, and is calling for a trained, well-equipped force to battle the United Nations troops he says Obama would bring in.
The comments by Lubbock County Judge Tom Head, who oversees emergency planning efforts, were broadcast by CNN affiliate KJTV. He made similar remarks on radio station FOX Talk 950.

I read this earlier this morning. Completely off the wall wacko. I think the real potential for civil unrest is if Obama doesn't win. Like the Trayvon Martin shooting in Florida, only nationally.
