Chik-fil-a and the Boy Scouts of America renewed thier promises of being anti gay. Funny, when I was in scouts I was never taught to treat people differently. I must've missed that meeting. Anyway, I've collected a few Eagle Badges and will be returning them.

I had my boys in scouts for one year. 80% of the activities were devoted to fund raising and after I'd already spent around $150 getting them registered and buying books and uniforms. Wasn't impressed.

I never did the fundraising crap. Many troops in my area did specific things. Some were big into pinewood derby, some into outdoor events. My troop, Troop 31, did a lot of hiking, repelling, camping, and competitions between other troops. In fact, we had 2 gay kids. Nobody cared.

Yeah, Barney Frank's wedding set the marriage equality movement back about 50 years.
