For the 3rd time in 3 weeks a fucking stooge wearing a sweatshirt and a hat backwards, different guy each time, has strolled his ass up to my house. He then proceeds to murder my name and before I can say yes or no he starts to ramble on about the Democratic something or other and was wondering who I was voting for for their numbers and have I considered becoming a Democrat if I am not already one. ( he has some forms and fliers in his hand ) When I then correct him in how to pronounce my name he starts to fucking talk again.

I tell him that he is not welcome, as were the previous 2, and will leave my yard now and not walk across the lawn like he did to get to the door.


Anyone else get these persistent fucks? I can get rid of JW/Mormons in one meeting but these dum-dums don't get it.

If there is a pissing match between which Party benefits most from truly "stupid" voters (i.e., the least intelligent and educated), the Democrats are going to "win." The exit polling data indicate that Democrats get the overwhelming majorities of votes among the least educated and the least successful.

On the flip side Democrats do consistently get the majority of those who have post graduate education. But the majority is far more modest than it is among the least educated. Also the least successful. And Republicans get the majority of the vote among more successful (i.e., higher income) people most of the time. Some exceptions but most of the time.

It's pretty clear that the "stupid" vote...or what I call the "zombie vote"...consistently favors the Democrats. That's why the Democrats spend so much time every election rounding up a bunch of people who have no clue as to what's going on, couldn't care less, and wouldn't go vote on their own to get them to the polls. I am totally convinced that if you had a poll test requiring at least a 100 IQ to vote the Democrats would be devastated. Can't prove it but I really do think that. And I can use exit polling data to show you why it's a reasonable belief if you really want to inflict that on everybody.

Decent sized drug store chain in NC that I frequented - I always thought it was as you pronounce it, but even the employees there pronounced it "car".

The idea of MARKETING the brand "Republican / Democrat" and how it's sold to the masses in general is fascinating

Both parties try to claim they are for "The Common Man" and pitch hard to that category

But generally speaking I agree you'd actually need to be DUMBER to vote straight ticket Democrat than straight ticket Republican, and I really do believe that for a myriad of reasons that I won't go into - but that said - to respond to your 100 IQ score to vote thing - I agree. However if there was a 144 IQ score and above line there would be almost NO REPUBLICANS up there (period) including Newt and all the faux republican intellectuals who are actually about 110 IQ's maybe 120's

I was measured at 130 as a kid but I swear I feel like a 78 when I am in language training.
