What does an "exhausted military/stretched thin' have to do with it?

It means that since our forces are strecthed too thin and weak, any response would be delayed and lacking.

They can say anything they want but I doubt they have the huevos to actually do it.

Obama, the Newest War President, on the world's stage, openly called for the removal of Qadaffi (and other leaders, but not his Middle East oil friends) and then, after threatening him, attacked a foreign country that had not attacked us...under the guise of helping people who are being repressed by their government). Furthermore, Obama publicly announced his plan to increased our troops (but didn't publicly announce the increase in their deaths) in Afghanistan, declared openly to the world that he would not honor other countries borders and then proceeded to authorize FAR more drone attacks on sovereign countries than Bush (and those Liberals who opposed his methods...which was just about every Liberal) ever did. After PUBLICLY gushing that he got Bin Laden, which he and other Liberals said was our mission, he continues some hazy mission in which the only tangible result seems to be to get more of our troops killed while publicly making treaties with some of the worst human rights offenders on the planet.

Yup, we still have a loud mouthed cowboy in the Oval Office. Nothing has changed, except some people's excuses for supporting such actions.
