Says Romney should be connecting better with Latinos because of his family's past of living in a polygamous pod down in Mexico so they could avoid persecution.

It is also rumored that the US Government paid Romney's grandfather $100,000 to relocate his family back in the US after the break out of the Mexican Revolution.

That's one of the things I like about Schweitzer, he isn't afraid to piss people off. I actually almost believe him when he says he has no delusions of becoming a Washington politician.

Don't look like he wants to bring this up with his own daddy married to two women at the same time

And Schweizer is a dumb ass
President Obama’s campaign quickly disavowed the comments and said it would not engage in “attacking a candidate’s religion.” In fact, the remarks are outside the bounds of what both sides have said is acceptable discourse for the campaign.

WashPost Writer Lounges in 'Polygamy Commune' Crack, Ignores Polygamy In Obama Family!

By: Tim Graham | April 21, 2012 | 18:02

When Montana Gov. Brian Schweizer whacked Mitt Romney as descending from a Mexican "polygamy commune," the Obama White House distanced itself from the remarks, but Washington Post reporter Aaron Blake found them instructive, that "despite Schweitzer’s overly blunt and inartful phrasing, it’s worth looking at the broader point he was trying to make. The truth is that Romney should be able to draw on his personal history for ammunition to fight back on issues such as the Latino vote and his image as a fat-cat businessman. But in both cases, fighting back would require reminding people that he’s a Mormon." What a pickle.

Blake, who is a well-known digger for "outlandish" Republican dirt, did not find a great "broader point" like James Taranto on Friday, noting that if that partisan from Montana wanted to mock an exotic foreign polygamist, he should perhaps look at -- Barack Obama's daddy:

The fact that polygamy exists in Obama's family is a moot point. Democrats have no moral compass by which to measure themselves.

They only measure themselves by height.

Love Steve, shared many a beverage with him. Never known him not to be a true dude and a Democrat cut of the cloth I can respect a whole lot. He's not the pussy liberal style that is rampant now anyway. he's more like an ol' farmer style Democrat.

I mean unless he's changing with the times like the rest of society anyway.
