Two Tulsa men arrested in connection with a shooting spree that left three black men dead and two critically injured were charged with murder this morning and ordered by a judge to be held on $9.1 million bonds each.

Jake England, 19, and Alvin Watts, 32, were arraigned today in an Oklahoma court via a closed circuit video from the Tulsa County Jail, according to ABC News' Tulsa affiliate KTUL.

Neither man had an attorney present and police have not yet determined which man was the alleged shooter, according to KTUL.

Both men were charged with three counts of first-degree murder, two counts of shooting with the intent to kill and one count of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Tulsa Shooting Suspects Held on Bonds of $9.1 Million

The suspects have not been charged with hate crimes, although all of the victims are black.

England and Watts were arrested at a house north of Tulsa around 2 a.m. on Sunday after a series of deadly shootings on Friday that left three black pedestrians dead and two critically wounded.

The five men were shot early Friday morning in four separate incidents during a span of less than two hours on the same side of town and not far from one another, police said.

Police identified the dead men as Dannaer Fields, 49, Bobby Clark, 54, and William Allen, 31. There was no connection between the suspects and victims, police said at a news conference on Sunday.

Two males were critically wounded in the shooting spree. All of the victims were targeted while they were out walking, and apparently did not know each other.

Police say their investigation will include Jake England's racially charged Facebook postings, although they say it's premature to describe the incident as a hate crime.

The shootings occurred nearly two years to the day after a black man shot England's father to death, according to his Facebook posting.

Remember, it is only racist and a hate crime if a white person is the perpetrator and a black person is the victim. Murder is murder.......regardless of race.

Qualifying it any other way is blatant racism......you know the way NBC does things like the Zimmerman thingy down in Florida where he did the world a favor and they wanted.......needed.....and fabricated racism in their reporting.

There could be a side effect happening from all the media created racism.

When normal white people like me hear the story about what happened in Tulsa........my first thoughts were.....Hmmm if I was really going to go after some blacks and kill them because they were black..............I would make damn sure to get more than 3-5 of them".

Then after that thought was mulled over in my head, I thought "great now the anti gun people have more ammo to use in their idiotic gun control campaign".

And finally I thought you really have to be a POS (manejeff?) to kill somebody because they are black and in your neighborhood........so why are the blacks that kill whites that kill whites in their neighborhood not held to the smae standard?


So all in all I guess what I am saying is, I really dont even care that this happened, if race was involved or not, it all balances out in the end.

I'm guessing that race was a factor. I mean I'm guessing they wanted to shoot Black people. But was it "racists" according to the definition of what racism is? Who knows?

That's because "racism" is believing that one race is superior to another. Technically, one can hate another race without being racist. Strange, I know, but true.

Bingo. Is absolutely ridiculous to refer to this as a "hate crime". If 5 white people had been shoit would that not be a hate crime? Should the punishment be any less? When is premeditated murder not a hate crime?

It should never matter the race of the perp or vic. Its shouldn't be well, if the vic is this race the charge wil be this, if the vic is that race the charge will be that. Basing charges on the race of the perp and vic is wrong. Murder is murder. The whole "hate crime" movement is about treating acts as thought crimes.

From what limited info I know about this case it sounds like those 2 f**kers should get charged with capital murder. The race of the victims shouldn't matter.

The "hate crime" concept is simply a device to justify giving the Federal government jurisdiction where it really doesn't Consitutionally have jurisdiction. Kind of like countless other tricks to give the Federal government jurisdiction where it shouldn't really have jurisdiction. Ends justify means sort of thing.

Plus, from what I have read, sounds like it was a drug deal gone bad.

This would be the difference between a hate crime and a "non-hate" crime that everyone seems to have a hard-time either wanting to understand or are too stubborn to understand.

England's father was murdered - yes, a crime. But from everything thing I have read (details still sketchy), race, etc was not a factor - an "ordinary crime" if you will.

England projected this crime onto ALL blacks - and randomly targeted blacks simply because of skin color - murder, plus a hate crime.

I agree.......that black guy that killed his father should be in jail instead of running the streets. I hate that crime he committed.
