After the latest e-mails showing direct authorization to commingle the MF Global customer funds and cover the shortfall? Despite Corzine's stout denials of knowledge of what was going on?
Lessee, now: fraud, securities law violations, lying to Congress...

I am not a big fan of Jon Corzine, but I read an article in the Wall Street Journal on Saturday which explained why he had a plausible explanation for his error, i.e., perhaps no actual fraudulent intent.
Still, he's now as finished on Wall Street as he is in politics.

He should
But he won't.
He knows where the money is buried...
...under Capitol Hill.
Every pol will have their fingers in the cookie jar...
...and time will cause this to fade.
Wonder why Jellydonut isn't screaming about the inequity of the incarcerated poor?

Agreed but he probably won't.

Good point T.
I wonder why this thread isn't getting the conk attention it deserves. I mean come on! A former donk senator and governor who lost a billion $'s of his clients money and nary a peep. Why is that? What's going on here?

Corzine should go to jail for spending about $150,000,000 of his personal wealth running for office three times.
What genuinely good things could have been done with that kind of money ... all wasted on his ego.
This is why I have no use for him.

Conks looked in the mirror and said, "Meh. I should just shut up...."

Another Donk politician getting in trouble? I'm shocked...

Corporations are people, money is speech. You must have no use for anyone running for office.

Well, he's not alone there.

Corzine spoke, but the people of NJ tuned him out.
And the state is better for it.
In the meantime, that woman "whistleblower" took the Fifth.
