So you are saying if someone breaks into your house, you have no right to self defense and you should just flee? Is that what you are saying?

Also, we don't know what exactly went on with the shooting so it's ridiculous that the anti-gun nutjobs and the racial justice crusaders are all out howling. Even if it can be determined that Zimmerman was being overzealous and wasn't justified in shooting, there is no way to prove any kind of racial motive (no, name-calling doesn't mean squat). So saying something that obviously attempts to make a connection between this shooting and statements by Limbaugh and Newt that she clearly doesn't understand is even stupider than blaming Sarah Palin's figures of speech on a shooting by a psychopath that hasn't had a coherent thought in his entire life.

Regardless of skin color the dude was on a mission and couldn't wait for an opportunity. He called 911 40 sometimes prior to this incident. He disregarded the 911 operators to quit following the kid. And oh yeah, there's another clue - pretty tough to claim self defense when you are chasing.

No doubt in my mind that Zimmerman lost his claim to "self-defense" when he followed Martin...otherwise, Pwns is spot on...

The police took the easy way out on this one and will pay...and Zimmerman will be charged and IMHO ultimately be convicted in this case...but those who want to use this crisis for their anti 2A agenda will be in for the political fight of their life...
