Hey TTBF.... Can you explain the timing of this for us dumb folk who might otherwise think this is fishy?

Friday news dump - this has been going on for decades - the Bush Admin was very adept at doing this as well - good news on Monday, any bad/fishy news on Friday.

No different than a company releasing bad news after the markets have closed, etc.

this has been standard operating since at least the 80's...

and the truth is - it doesn't matter which side did it first, because the other side starting doing it the very next week, believe me.

I am much less concerned with Friday document dumps than I am with what is in them. I usually don't pay much attention but this one is a doozy. A reasonable person would deduce that the Obama administration was trying to protect a big supporter's investments by making loan guarantees to a company that they already knew was going under.

I know the people have their radar on for Chicago politics with this president, but you don't even need radar for this one.
