Dbacks favorite sheriff, Joe Arpaio, is holding a conference tomorrow to release his Cold Case Posse results on Obama's eligibility.

The topic of discussion will be an investigation by Arpaio’s Cold Case Posse into concerns about Obama’s eligibility. It’s the first time an official law enforcement report has addressed many of the allegations about the presumptive 2012 Democratic nominee for president.

The issues include Obama’s eligibility under the U.S. Constitution’s requirements, questions about his use of a Connecticut Social Security number and the image of his purported birth certificate from Hawaii.

If he can prove that the Connecticut SS# is the one that Obama actually uses, Obama will have some explaining to do.

Thanks man. Had DD214 on the brain, for I had to list my honorable discharge date today. Anyway, the Form 180 that Kerry signed, but never sent in to release his records.

While I might give SOME limited credence to the Birther argument, I kinda have a problem with THIS one. It's entirely possible to get a SSN away from one's place of birth. For example, I was born in IL, but I believe that my SSN is tied to Cali, where I've lived practically all my life. If that happened with a nobody like me, what's to keep a guy from being born in HI (as HE says), or even Africa (as the Birthers say), and establish residence for a time early on as a baby in CT, gain a SSN there, and go on with life elsewhere?

As much as I don't like President Obama and his dumb@$$ politics, THIS is a non-issue for me.

A very plausible explanation for this is that the SS number of the President is blocked or not present on government verification systems. That would be my guess.

In law enforcement, if you look up the president in NCIC, you get a visit. If you have access to any other government databases and you use them to look up people like the President, you also get a visit. (And you can hand over your credentials at that point and possibly expect some jail time.)

It would make sense to me that on systems where that kind of access is loosely available to the public, privacy info on people like the Prez and other bigwigs would be blocked (as it should be).
