I read them but will almost never join in as there really isn't a point.

Actually it has long been frowned on in our country to poke fun at peoples superstitions/religions, but only if they are recognized as "Christians."

I think it is really humanizing, and maybe even downright cute to hear folks talk about their invisible friends. Kind of how I enjoy seeing little bitty kids getting pumped up for Santa, or the Easter Bunny.

I'm major guilty of this.

I'm a believer but I must admit a lot of it makes me shake my head. I believe in the Judeo-Christian God and all that, but even if that were proved false, I would still believe in some sort of higher intelligent designer. I just cannot buy the idea that everything is here by chance, accident, et al.
