Quick: What religion is the son of Cuban exiles?

Answer: Roman Catholic, right? Right.

And also Mormon?

That’s right, Marco Rubio, the conservative senator on everyone’s short list for vice president, was a member of the LDS Church in his youth, BuzzFeed reports.

When Rubio's family moved to a suburb of Las Vegas, near cousins who were Mormon, many in his immediate family (but not his father) converted, including Marco. Rubio was baptized in the church when he was 8 and enthusiastically participated in the religion, according to the report.

Agree. It's not like this is a big deal. Probably only affected the priest by forcing him to wrestle through a pair of magic underwear....

Same theology as Glenn Beck.

He was a Catholic alcoholic that left Catholicism because they tolerated drunks and went Mormon.

Now he can only drink Pepsi.

Doy!! Have you been watching the Republican primaries?? Apparently it is the only thing that matters, other than party affiliation.

I can't wait for the repubs to nominate anyone.

I've seen some of the ads that will run pointing out some truths about our failed president and it will be great...when an ad runs using their own words it is very powerful.

he has a record he can't hide this time
Gallup: Romney up by 4 on Obama

thehill.com ^ | 02/23/12 | Jonathan Easley
Mitt Romney leads President Obama by 4 percentage points in Gallup’s latest national head-to-head polling. If the election were held Thursday, 50 percent said they would support Romney, versus 46 percent who would support Obama, according to Gallup. The president holds the edge on former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa.), 49 percent to 48 percent.

Man, Broncky, you'd be tired, too, if you had to clean up this Conk mess!

Why don't you run for office, McVeigh?

For the record, Cap'n Cat sees nothing wrong with a Mormon in the White House. This IS America, after all.

Are you suggesting that Einstein was an atheist, because he wasn't. He said on a number of occasions that he believed in God, just not a personal God.

How about a scientologist, a Native American who believes coyote created the world, a rastafarian, an animist? Just wondering how low (or high) the bar is set.

Have no problem with anyone other than atheists -- and "graduates" of directional "universities."

Not suggesting that at all, Joe. I think you know that.

Brother Albert represents science and progress, which always trumps religion, in that picture.
