"........For 2011, Obama’s third year in office, an average of 80 percent of Democrats approved of the job he was doing in Gallup tracking polls, as compared to 12 percent of Republicans who felt the same way. That’s a 68-point partisan gap, the highest for any president’s third year in office — ever. (The previous high was George W. Bush in 2007, when he had a 59 percent difference in job approval ratings.)
In 2010, the partisan gap between how Obama was viewed by Democrats versus Republicans stood at 68 percent; in 2009, it was 65 percent. Both were the highest marks ever for a president’s second and first years in office, respectively......."

If he were white, he'd never have been considered by the Dems.

Funny this comes out the same week as the Allen West comments. You might think the Republicans are trying to get the base excited about a milquetoast liberal conk front runner or something.

Typical Donk rejoinder: if you don't like Obummer, it must be because he's blackish. It can't be because of his ruinous policies.

I agree that he's the most polarizing President ever. Unfortunately, that's just par for the course for politics in America these days. He won't be the most polarizing one ever - the next President, whether it's 2012 or 2016, will take over the top spot, and will probably be topped by the one after him. Three or four Presidents from now and we'll all look back on the Obama years as times when everyone got along. The only thing that will change will be perspective.

What a whopper! Careful, Ganny: you're jeopardizing your role as "CS.com house moderate" and morphing into Punxsutawney Phil! "Prognosticator of prognosticators!"

Maybe I do resemble a groundhog. Although I'd rather be Gus, the second most famous groundhog in Pennsylvania. I like that one commercial where he's working it with the ladies.
