Court Order to Force an Abortion Reversed on Appeal

Idiot judge retired after this. Thank God for the appeals system. According to the article, the judge declared that a mentally ill but pregnant Catholic woman was incompetent and ordered her to get an abortion even if the abortion had to be forced because, in his OPINION, her Catholic pro-life beliefs were "delusional." The appeals court essentially ripped the judge a new one, and rightly so.

So you're saying that it's OK for a judge to impose crap that NEITHER side in the case asked for? And that it's OK for a judge to impose his OWN views when there is NO provision for such in the law?

The judge involved is named Christina Harms, so the meaning of her name is one who harms a follower of Christ.
I point this out for no purpose other than to annoy D1B.

Mentally ill or not, it's definitely a slippery slope when government begins forcing abortions and sterilizations. I think it's a good call by the appeals courts.
