Obama wasn't running for senator from the state of Iowa, or Wisconsin, or Minnesota, or whereever the fuck the bridge is located that you live under.

To be honest, I don't think the troops are heading to another war such as Syria. Obama wants to get re-elected and he knows he won't if he places ground troops in Syria or any other war zone. Now tactical strikes in Syria/Iran is another matter since he could play the humanitarian card with Syria and the nuke card with Iran. It's still risky in an election year though.

I think the largest US embassy in the world is now in Iraq. We'll be there forever.

Thankful that my generation's Vietnam is finally over. Thank you to the soldiers (and their loved ones) who made the ultimate sacrifice in this conflict.
