I agree with Walker taking on the unions and applaud him for his "get it done' attitude, but he didn't have to be such an asshole about it.

Classic misconkulation.

Bludgeoning people before forcing something on them is a core Conk value.

It's the evangelical, holier-than-thou, fuck education/keep the slaves stupid, I-know-what's-best-for-you-and-I'm-not-going-to-listen-to-you conk personality traits that will ultimately do him in.

ALTHOUGH, D, I watched him on an interview a few weeks back and he did confess that he went about it the wrong way, saying he should have done much more up front work.

Good to hear.

I met him when he spoke at our chamber of commerce luncheon. He's a hard worker and honest. I applaud him for taking on the union dregs and lazy, overpaid government workers - including the teachers.

Not tactful, but effective. Tact goes a long way in getting folks to understand your view, but this issue was so contentious there was no way he could keep from pissing a lot of folks off.

Um, gross generalization. The overwhelming number of teachers are fine, upstanding civil servants. I have never met a teacher, BTW, who takes the union sh*t seriously. Mama Cat is in a union and it's the most remote afterthought in her and her colleagues' existence when it comes to their careers.

Take out the evangelical part and you just described Obama and all his cronies. :coffee:

If you thought Walker forced stuff on you , just wait until Perry runs rough shod over you left wing ding bats with a majority in the house and senate.

You guys are gonna feel like Jodie Foster on the pinball machine....................... :coffee:

"Holier than thou?" ... "Keep the slaves stupid?" ... So you accuse Walker of adopting "progressive" donk tactics??????

He kept the senate in the special elections despite union money and white-hot fervor. When the dust settles, there will be very few communities, even in Wisconsin, which will vote to return the extreme burden of union monopoly pension programs to the shoulders of the productive taxpayer.

Give Walker another couple of years and see what happens.
