"Bush was on vacation most of his presidency too" holds just as much weight in my eyes as those who say that Obama is on "vacation" often as well. Which is very little. It all depends on which side of the fence you're on.

Beyond everything, THIS. Bush spent a lot of time out of the White House... but even as one of his strongest detractors - I don't presume, even for a second, that he was ever really "off the job"
