Michelle Bachmann used that excuse Sunday night in Iowa. Problem? Monday her mother and two cousins came forward and told the press that Michelle Bachmann was NOT at the family reunion in northern Iowa.

Maybe she was off looking for the colonists military supplies in Concord, New Hampshire.

Perhaps she was feeling 'not so fresh'. I remember candidate obama disappearing from public sight and having that nerdy, fat, glasses wearing, vagina of his former press secretary lying to the media about whether he was on a plane or not. Then they lied and said barry was going over to hillary and bills. The point being......SO WHAT GAYBOY?

She has a gay sister - and the rift that Michele has caused with her gay bashing has strained the family to say the least.

She doesn't like to admit to her headaches (or whatever it is), so she does this instead.

My guess - she had just spent 3-5 days being "on" every second, and by Sunday night she was overwhelmed - it could have manifest itself physically (as it apparently does with her)... having worked with candidates in these kinds of high-stress environments - it's not surprising...

does that fact raise "fitness to serve" questions? I don't really know... the campaign is a brutal grind, oddly enough the stress may be worse than actually serving in many ways...

I know the woman personally. I have been around her since 1998 - this isn't like it's the first time something like this has happened...

more to the point - i was very clear that what i said was nothing more than idle speculation based on this knowledge... she's done it in the past, and it fits her M.O.... I also don't really think it's that big of a damn deal... every campaign I've ever been on has set aside one evening a week for "downtime" so that the candidate could recover a little bit, eat dinner with the family, etc
