You riot...you lose benefits

The British Public...outraged by the riots over the past week...are demanding action...
So, The House of Commons may soon debate a bill that will strip rioters of social security benefits (Note: That's welfare here in the states)
Currently, an e-Petition is being circulated to collect 100,000 signatures required to bring up the legislation...
Additionally, there is an effort to evict rioters...toss them out on the street...
Some pretty tough love there, if you ask me...that will teach the young punks...

He said: "Parents have a responsibility to control the young people living in their home. If young people living in your home have been involved in the violence over the past few days, they are putting your tenancy at risk."
If someone has travelled for those riots, then the fact you have committed it in the next-door borough or somewhere else should count equally ”
In Westminster, the council is looking at using "demoted tenancy" powers under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003, which allows social landlords to to seek possession of a property, even if it is under a secured tenancy.
Some pretty tough love there, if you ask me...that will teach the young punks...
