OK, good point, but if I spent the time, I could definitely find some shit.

Here's what I would like to see from our government...and I think I've been very consistent on these:

1) Balanced budget requirement with presidential line-item veto authority
2) Reduced spending by 20% across the board (or total elimination of certain areas, or both). As an alternative, return spending to 2006 levels and keep it there.
3) Closing of the vast majority of overseas military bases (that one's for you, houndawg )
4) All military in Afghanistan and Iraq home
5) Major changes/limitations in entitlement programs (i.e., limiting welfare, food stamps, etc., or requiring WORK in exchange)
6)Cut back/eliminate foreign aid
7) Flat Tax code/elimination of IRS - level the playing field from a corporate tax standpoint
8) Elimination of Federal Reserve
9) Effective Illegal immigration policy/administration
10) Privatization of Social Security
11) GTFO of social issues like health care, gay marriage, abortion, etc. (I put this last because in the big scheme of things, this is the least important of ANY of the issues out there IMHO...although these emotional issues drive a LOT of people's votes...).
