Dylan Ratigan goes off on the root of our financial problems and as he states, it's not opinion, it's the simple math that our trade policies and banking have been extracting a ton of wealth from our economy. Both parties are to blame due to campaign finance but Obama is especially culpable due to wasted opportunity:
He's kinda like a WSJ editorial board member...minus the oligarchical jock sniffing.

Where do I start? The abysmal lack of detail as to how he plans to create fund a "2% infrastructure bank" with repatriated money? How he plans to get that money, and how much he could realistically get? The concept that Congress is "bought" but the blessed Barack Hussein Obama somehow isn't? The lack of evidentiary support for the problems with trade and fiscal policy that result in "tens of trillions of dollars" of "extractions"? You may be satisfied with such dyspeptic bromides, kalm, but I'm not. Read the freaking transcript.

Ok, Now you've done it
asking for some sort of thoughtful/insightful commentary from the right
Might as well ask for the penguin at the zoo to shit out pieces of gold bullion
these days they're pretty much limited to name calling and insults, it's their "thing"

I can't wait until this thread blows up in Mensatard's face and he starts backpedaling again, claiming he was only fishing.

I think he totally whiffed on the root of the problem. Since I've written many times about what I think the root of the problem is, there is no need to elaborate.

Sound bite attention span. He goes into details more on his podcasts with guest such as Ron Paul, Mohamed El Erian (CEO of Pimco), and Peter Morici - you know guys who've spent their careers in and around Wall Street, global finance, and politics. The kind of big picture dudes who rely upon bean counting lawyers like you to worry about the details.
Oh, and btw FDR wasnt bought, he was a traitor to his own class. That's why Ratigan is taking Obama to task - because he is bought.

How did FDR get dragged into this? Obama lacks the pince-nez glasses, the cigarette holder, and the patrician Dutchess County accent. Not to mention the aptitude for running the Executive Branch.

Or the stones to take on entrenched monied interests.
FWIW, I'm imagining the above description when I now read your posts.

Yeah, my friends tell me every day that I look and sound just like FDR. Regular glasses, no cig holder, a Philly accent, and no knack for governing anything but a law firm!
