On a day when investors lose moe than $1 trillion of net worth they have the nerve to have Anderson Cooper in Africa trying to raise awareness about Somalia. How about Africa getting info on how to help Americans??

Cooper has too much recently-deposited protein in his ears to understand what is really happening in the US.

The days of shouldering the burdens of the underclass are numbered, and what a glorious change in this country's future will soon emerge.

Unfortunately, I think history proves quite the opposite. It's usually the underclass that ends up overthrowing the upperclass (whether politically or by force) and taking over the state...sometimes for the better...usually for the worst. The US might be different as there's never really been a country like ours before, but I wouldn't bank on it. I guess only time will tell.

I hope you're not talking about Hegel's so-called dialectic materialism here.

Dialectical materialism makes a lot of sense strictly from a philosophical point of view, and we see what's described in it all around us everyday. However, Marx and Engels (and Lenin) took it to a whole new level with communism...as they thought it was the ultimate form of the philosophy. Communism is just a really shitty form of government and is NOT the ultimate form of dialectical materialism as they perceived. The philosophy promotes no final form because that contradicts exactly what it's trying to convey.
