I was on the phone today, speaking to an Assistant State Attorney General, when for some reason I felt to compel to tell him what I thought about the state of government regulation in the State of NJ. I told him about cases I was involved in with regulatory agencies in which it was apparent that, no matter how right the private party was, the regulators were going to screw them for political reasons. I called the administrative law system unconscionable and I said that if the average person saw what I had seen over the years -- the abuses, the overreaching, the arrogant and raw abuse of power -- they would doubt that we lived in a free or democratic society. I meant every word of it, and I am just scratching the surface here of what I actually said. It felt great to get that off my chest.

Good for you.
I learned a long time ago to go public with instances of abuse of Public trust. I've stood before Legislative committees at state and local level, presenting evidence of misuse of government authority. I made quite a few enemies, but in every case, the sh$t stopped. Sad, but every state should have an IG to oversee govt. and prosecute those who abuse their authority.

Joe, as a fellow attorney, I'm damned proud of you!
But your career will now be totally fucked. At least in New Jersey!
You are admitted in NY, aren't you?

Joe- move to NC and practice law there. You won't have to deal with all the greasers, and the medical malpractice field is wide open now that former SEN Edwards is probably going to be disbarred.

Why not Maryland? I hear they'll let practically anyone practice there.

Where was this demand for justice when your church was covering up the industrial scale slaughter of young boys by psychopath homosexual priests?

Sadly, it probably fell on deaf ears.

Same thing that would have happened if he did the right thing and called his church out for raping young boys.
