Americans for Prosperity is sending absentee ballots to Democrats in at least two Wisconsin state Senate recall districts with instructions to return the paperwork after the election date.
The fliers, obtained by POLITICO, ask solidly Democratic voters to return ballots for the Aug. 9 election to the city clerk "before Aug. 11."
A Democrat on the ground in Wisconsin said the fliers were discovered to be hitting doors in District 2 and District 10 over the weekend.
"These are people who are our 1's in the voterfile who we already knew. They ain't AFP members, that's for damn sure," the source said.

The Koch-roaches strike again.
The amount of fraud and treason paid for by those Un-American traitors is staggering.

Fixed it for Them (FIFT?). This makes a huge difference, plus the ballot comes with its own instructions.

Good catch - I was thinking how are they mailing the ballots - but applications make more sense. So hopefully people will read the BALLOT. Still, dirty tricks need to be punished.

I think it was a true typo. When the right wants the turnout to be low, they don't send a reminder or an application to someone to make voting easier. If anything, they would hope someone that they know to be truly against thier candidate/issue would not be aware of the election, or just to lazy to go to the polls on Election Day.

Then why are they sending that version only to registered Democrats?

Maybe I am missing something here, but it doesn't appear that you affiliate yourself when you register in WI.

My guess is that they are Democratic leaning districts, not registered Democrats. We are the same way here in MT, and every election the R's still campaign in Blue Districts.

BTW, I am not defending AFP by any means. I am so used to little things being turned into conspiracies in my line of work that I have to take a step back and take a closer look.

Why, Dback would never do that.

Want to try "honest mistake" again?
The Koch-roaches and their minions have been pulling dirty tricks for decades. To think this is an honest mistake is the type of naivete that is destroying America while they impose their far-right agenda on the country.

This drives me nuts... it's a textbook example of "zebra thinking"
when you see something with four legs, and six feet tall and think "zebra" not "horse"
happens all the time in politics - people looking for conspiracy when there is more than likely just a fuckup.
having printed wrong polling place info on e-day door-hangers myself, I can assure you - it happens a hell of a lot more than a coordinated attempt to mislead or disenfranchise.

And this thinking from you is why Michelle Bachmann is still around in the House...not taking the dirty-trick machine that are the Koch-roaches seriously

I take many things seriously - but one of the most frustrating things with the base (of either party) is their insistence that every misprint or goof-up or really anything that happens ever, is part of some conspiracy or scheme. Most of the time - a cigar is just a cigar.
As for the Bachmann crack - I can give you a half-dozen reasons she's still in Congress - and not a SINGLE one of them has anything to do with "dirty tricks"

I know that not every misprint is a conspircy. but when you have a pattern of dirty tricks coming from one source, then the burden of proof shifts from misprint to intentional.
